Latham
– The standard for spring bearing, red raspberries;
extremely popular and widely grown. Large to very
large, round, deep red fruits. Wonderful texture, full
flavored and aromatic.
Good for fresh eating, baking, and freezing. Strong,
vigorous, heavily productive, upright, 4-5 ft. tall plants.
Disease resistant; mosaic free. Ripens late June and early
July. Exceptionally hardy. Do not place in heavy, clay
soils. Zone 3-8
Tulameen - This is a robust and versatile
raspberry. It produces a high yield of very large,
bright red fruit with a good sugan-acid balance, and a pure,
strong, sweet raspberry flavor. Its fruit is one of the
largest of red raspberries and has an outstanding
appearance. Tulameen raspberry plants perform exceptionally
well in a home garden and is also widely grown
commercially. It has a long fruiting season, approximately
50 days, and ripens in July. Do not place in heavy, clay
soils. Zone 4-8
Black Raspberry – Jewel - Mid-season ripening.
A consistent good performer and a good choice for home
gardeners. Large, firm, glossy fruit with good flavor on
vigorous and erect plants. Zone 5-8
EVERBEARING
Heritage
– Large sweet, dark red berries with good flavor. This
superior quality berry is good for fresh eating, freezing,
canning, and preserves. An excellent variety for the home
gardener. Do not place in heavy, clay soils. Zone 4-9
